So, who am I…

I’m a programmer by nature and have dabbled in more languages than I can remember, right back from BBC Basic on the BBC B through C to Java, but mostly these days I’m writing code in PHP (Zend Certified) as a developer for a large global media company. In my spare time I’ll either be near some turntables, a bass guitar or on the end of something made by flexifoil.

Why am I writing a blog?

To be honest until recently the idea of writing a blog never crossed my mind, as there have been many hours filled with mocking remarks about those people who blog about every little thing in the most boring fashion, and I’ve always been one of the people thinking they’re rather pointless. So what changed my mind? Not sure. I just figured what the hell, I’m bored and need something to do.

What sort of things will you find here?

Everything from random bits of (seemingly useless) code, websites I like (or don’t, as the case may be), things that make me laugh, weird experiments with photoshop, after effects and maya – oh, and the occasional sarcastic rant about something which has irritated the hell out of me.
